For Melissa Rothschild, fashion has never been an afterthought it has always been a form of self-expression. Long before MUSE, she was devouring Vogue and Cosmopolitan, dreaming of a closet like Cher’s in Clueless, and discovering that the right accessory could completely transform a look.

In college, she was voted “Fashion Is My Passion,” and fittingly, began her career with an internship at Full Frontal Fashion, where designer showrooms, beautiful clothes, and the creative people behind them left a lasting impression.

One of her favorite fashion moments came while interning. The producers decided to put her on an episode of Where’d Ya Get That? After being stopped on the streets of New York City and asked what she was wearing, her answer was quintessentially Melissa: H&M and Fendi. Even then, she instinctively mixed high and low, believing that personal style was never defined by a label or a price tag. It was about how you put the pieces together, how you made them your own, and most importantly how they made you feel.

That philosophy became the foundation for MUSE.

When Melissa set out to create a jewelry collection, she wanted pieces that look and feel luxurious without the luxury markup—jewelry that can take you from day to night, elevate what you already own, and add just the right amount of glamour and sparkle to everyday life.

After more than two decades flexing her creative muscles in television production, Melissa found herself returning to the passion that started it all. Her philosophy remains simple: great style isn’t about wearing the most expensive thing in the room. It’s about knowing how to put it together.
